SANFORD, NC — 11/21/2023 – DisposeRx, a leader in innovative drug-disposal solutions, is proud to announce that in-home medication disposal is now more accessible and convenient. DisposeRx packets, designed to safely dispose of unused or expired medications, are now available in harm reduction kiosks in Cayuga County, New York.

In an effort to address the growing concern of medication misuse and overdose,
the organization Healing Cayuga is now providing NARCAN naloxone spray,
medication disposal packets from DisposeRx, and fentanyl drug testing strips in
harm reduction kiosks placed in key locations such as Cayuga County Mental
Health.
By having the drug disposal packets in an easily accessible vending machine in a high traffic area, the program aims to make medication disposal a routine and easily accessible practice for individuals and families. This initiative aligns with the organization’s commitment to community health and wellbeing.
